Salt and Pepper Oyster Mushrooms 椒盐平菇

Ingredients
- Oyster mushrooms: 500 g
- Eggs: 2
- Flour: 2 tablespoons
- Pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch: 2 tablespoons
- Five-spice powder: ½ teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Oil: 10 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper seasoning: 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder: to taste
- Chili powder: to taste
Instructions
- Wash the oyster mushrooms and tear them into even, small strips.
- In a bowl, mix the flour and cornstarch, add the two eggs, five-spice powder, pepper powder, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Heat the oil in a pan to about 160°C (320°F) and fry the mushroom strips.
- Fry until golden brown, then remove and drain.
- Sprinkle it with salt and pepper seasoning, cumin powder, and chili powder to taste.
