Ingredients

  • Celery: 1 stalk
  • Shrimp (peeled): 250 g
  • Salt: 2 tsp
  • Oyster sauce: 1 tsp
  • Ginger: 1 slice
  • Garlic: 1 clove
  • White pepper (ground): ½ tsp
  • Cooking wine: 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Celery
Trim the top part of the celery. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the tough outer fibers on the upper surface and the protruding ridges on the back. The indented middle part is tender and doesn’t need peeling. Cut the celery into 2 cm pieces.
    • Wash the celery and cut it diagonally into pieces.
    • Blanch the celery briefly in boiling water, rinse under cold water, and drain.
  2. Marinate the Shrimp
Mix the shrimp with cooking wine, salt, and white pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  3. Cook the Shrimp
Heat some oil in a pan, add the shrimp, and stir-fry until cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  4. Combine the Ingredients
Add a bit more oil to the pan, heat it, and sauté the ginger and garlic until fragrant. Return the cooked shrimp to the pan, add the celery, and stir in the oyster sauce. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  5. Serve
  6. The dish is ready to be served—enjoy it hot!
