- Light soy sauce: 1 tbsp
- Dark soy sauce: 1 tbsp
- Oyster sauce: 1 tbsp
- Five-spice powder: 1 tsp
Instructions
- Choose two nice pieces of pork belly, wash them well, and cut them into small cubes. Soak them in water to remove blood and impurities.

- Cut the spring onion into small pieces, slice the ginger and garlic, and set aside.
- Heat a wok, add cooking oil, and heat it to about 120°C. Add the pork belly pieces and stir-fry until they are browned and slightly crispy.
- Once the meat is lightly cooked and crispy, add the spring onion, ginger, Sichuan peppercorns, and star anise, and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
- Add the green beans to the wok and stir-fry on high heat for 3 minutes. Then add the potatoes and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add the light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and five-spice powder, and stir everything well.
- Add water to cover the ingredients, bring to a boil on high heat, then cover and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and increase the heat to reduce the sauce until it thickens slightly.
- You can adjust the ratio of green beans, potatoes, and pork belly according to your taste.
