Stir-Fried Broccoli (Vegan)

Ingredients

  • Broccoli: 500g
  • Carrot: 1 small
  • Black fungus mushrooms: 10 pieces
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger: 2 slices
  • Garlic: 2 cloves
  • Monosodium glutamate (MSG): ½ teaspoon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Slice the carrot into thin rounds.
    • Cut the broccoli into small florets.
    • Soak the black fungus mushrooms and tear them into small pieces.
    • Mince the ginger and garlic.
  2. Wash the Broccoli:
    • In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 1 teaspoon of salt with water. Wash the broccoli thoroughly in this mixture.
  3. Blanch the Vegetables:
    • Boil water in a pot and add a pinch of salt and a bit of oil.
    • Blanch the broccoli, carrots, and black fungus mushrooms briefly, then drain and set aside.
  4. Stir-Fry:
    • Heat oil in a pan. Add the minced ginger and garlic, stir-frying until fragrant.
    • Add the broccoli, carrots, and black fungus mushrooms, and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  5. Season:
    • Add salt and (MSG)
    • Mix well and serve.
